Mea culpa. Life has been a bit of a whirlwind and I'm afraid I've become a Myspace person... not that I blog there either. :)<br /><br />In brief:<br />Since my last entry I have experienced 5 deaths of important people, but not primary people (except Spot, my ancient cat, who is sorely missed) The other 4 were my uncle, my great-grandma, my college voice teacher and a teacher/mentor type person. That was all last spring and summer.<br /><br />3 or 4 births. I've lost track. Lots of little bald, gooey, pink things.<br /><br />I have moved to Lacona, IA... family hometown and have started work on my Master's of Education which I am currently avoiding. <br /><br />Am working with my own high school music teacher on my practicum and will probably work with him on student teaching next year.<br /><br />Have been very involved in THEATER.... YAY!! LOVE IT. Can't believe I neglected this part of me for so long.<br /><br />Last spring I produced, directed and acted in a 9-woman cast of "Mother Wove the Morning" ... very satisfying.<br /><br />Last fall stage directed Bye Bye Birdie at my high school. Lots of fun, learned a lot.<br /><br />Just wrapped up directing a "Shakespeare 4 Kidz" production of Midsummer Night's Dream. Had no idea one could fall in love with 23 people at the same time... was prolly the best experience of my life. <br /><br />Am currently working on memorizing more of "Mother Wove the Morning" since 3 of us will be doing it again for the <a href="http://www.iowafringe.com/">Iowa Fringe Festival</a> . YAY!<br /><br />Am in talks with a good friend to start a music lesson/health-food cafe business this summer... cuz evidently I need to cram every waking minute with activity or I might have to self-reflect or something.<br /><br />Singing in a broadway review this weekend... silly stuff.<br /><br />Am so so so happy to be back in Iowa.<br /><br />Vaguely wondering what's happened to Surfers.<br /><br />Wondering what y'all are up to, so will try to catch up on journals soon.<br /><br />All for now.<br />cherio, pip pip, harumph and all that.<br />Sarah urn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:sarahbebhinn:293 2005-06-30T13:17:08Z 2005-06-30T13:17:08Z Hey ho.
